What is NLP?

Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) is a method of training your brain in a specific and focused way in order to release yourself from unhelpful patterns and ways of thinking, towards more desired, fulfilling ways of living your most intentional and aware life.

How many sessions does it take to reach my goals?

The amount of time it takes to reach your goals is specific to each person. I will work with you at your personal pace until we achieve results. Every person's journey from their present state to their desired state is unique. Therefore, it is important to be patient with yourself. Though some people's journeys can range from a couple months to a couple years, on average it takes 6-8 months.

How does the NLP process work?

In our first few sessions we work together to assess and pinpoint your realistic goals. We identify what it is that's holding you back and then bring your inner skills and resources to the surface. Next, we integrate these skills into real-world practices. Progress is made when you have become "unstuck" and can apply your developed skills towards your real life.

How do I know I'm ready to start NLP?

If you are an adult feeling "stuck", unable to achieve the goals you've set, or not sure how to shift your life in the way you want, then you are ready for NLP coaching.

Can my child benefit from NLP?

Coaching can help your child learn boundaries, increase expression and communication, and identify and channel their emotions appropriately. Your child can benefit from NLP if they're having behavioral, emotional, or self-control difficulties. Your child will learn techniques to handle a range of emotions.

How fast until I see a change?

Factors for change include what goals you have, their complexities and how motivated you are to pursue them. Building new skills, changing habits, and shifting perspectives can take time.

Is NLP confidential?

This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the client shares to the coach, as part of their relationship, is bound to confidentiality by the ICF Code of Ethics, but is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like in Medicine or Law).

How does confidentiality work with my child?

What your child and I discuss in our work together will remain between them and I so that we can create and maintain a trusting relationship. However, concerns of safety will be disclosed to parents/guardians, as well as general topics that are being address (e.g. "we are currently working on self-esteem").

What is the cost?
